This utilizes the “Call Forward, Busy-no-Answer” feature available from your phone company. Your phone company will ask you how many rings you want to wait before forwarding unanswered calls, and they will want to know the phone number to which calls will be forwarded. You’ll tell them to wait four rings and to forward to the voicemail number we give you.
With this setup, all unanswered or busy calls to your home or business will automatically be forwarded to your voicemail number, and callers will be presented the options you want them to hear, whether it’s simply “leave a message after the tone …” or “ Please choose from the following Options, press 1 for Sales, 2 for Support, … ect ” A caller pressing 1 can be connected to your mobile phone or other numbers. A caller pressing 2 can be connected to your co-worker or employee, whether that person is across town or across country. The service is very flexible.
Additionally, with “Call Forward Variable”, (also available from your phone company), you can manually forward calls into your voicemail system so that all calls can be routed from your voicemail main menu to whichever extension or person is needed. Some of our customer do this permanently and have the system route all calls, others forward in only after hours, weekends or when they are out of the office. That’s the beauty of the system, it can be utilized in whatever manner works best for you and your business. And you don’t have to purchase expensive phone equipment to have these capabilities.
